Hermetic wire feedthroughs that seal through the wire insulation and individual stranded conductors, eliminating leakage paths and the costly pin-soldering required by glass-to-metal designs. Bi-directional as standard.
In-stock designs ship in 2–4 weeks. Credit cards accepted. Call to place an order immediately.
Hermetically sealed bulkhead connectors with a mating disconnect plug on both sides of the barrier. The only hermetic connector that lets you fully disconnect from either face of the wall without breaking seal integrity.
Single-sided hermetic circular connectors with a mating disconnect on the accessible face and pre-wired sealed leads (or solder cups) on the other, passing directly through the bulkhead. Signal and power with zero leakage through the seal assembly.
Drop-in hermetically sealed replacements for standard D-Sub connectors. Available in standard-density (#20 AWG), high-density (#22 AWG), micro D-Sub (#25 AWG), and nano configurations, with 9 to 200+ pins, single- or dual-sided.
PAVE engineering can review your spec and recommend the right hermetic feedthrough or connector — no charge for technical consultation.
Hermetically sealed coaxial and shielded RF cable feedthroughs that maintain controlled impedance and signal integrity across a pressure or vacuum barrier. Available in SMA, BNC, TNC, N-type, and custom connector interfaces.
Hermetic feedthroughs that carry the actual thermocouple wire pairs through the sealed bulkhead with no break in the bimetallic alloy circuit. Standard designs interrupt the TC signal with copper contacts; PAVE preserves signal accuracy from sensor to instrument.
ISO 9001:2015 certified. Helium leak tested. Rapid-turnaround quoting on custom designs.
Hermetically sealed fiber optic feedthroughs for single-mode and multi-mode fiber through pressure and vacuum bulkheads. Maintains gas-tight sealing without compromising optical performance or insertion loss.
Single-conductor power feedthroughs with a stud or terminal extending through a hermetically sealed housing, screw-terminal or lug connections on each side. A straightforward solution for high-current power passthroughs through pressure or vacuum walls.
— Core engineering philosophy, PAVE Technology Co.
Whether custom-spec or in-stock, PAVE’s engineering team can help you identify the right hermetic feedthrough for your application and provide a rapid-turnaround quote.
PAVE maintains full ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring every hermetic feedthrough and connector is manufactured and inspected under a rigorous, documented quality management system. Certificate valid through November 2028.
Helium mass spectrometry leak testing to 4 × 10⁻¹⁰ cc/sec is available upon request on most designs. Standard factory test: 80 psi air/nitrogen with no visible bubble—or high-vacuum helium test at 10⁻⁸ cc/sec or less.
All PAVE hermetic seal product lines comply with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directives. Full compliance documentation available upon request for restricted materials sourcing requirements.
PAVE-Seal® feedthroughs have fixed wire leads permanently sealed through the bulkhead, with no disconnect. PAVE-Mate® connectors add a mating plug on one or both sides so you can disconnect without disturbing the seal. Use PAVE-Seal® for a permanent passthrough; use PAVE-Mate® when you need repeated connect/disconnect access.
The standard factory test is 80 psi of nitrogen with no visible bubble. High-vacuum helium testing to 10⁻⁸ cc/sec is standard on vacuum-rated designs. Helium mass spectrometer testing to 4 x 10⁻¹⁰ cc/sec is available on request.
Standard designs are factory-tested to 80 psi. Most designs can be tested to several hundred psi on request, and select configurations are rated to 10,000+ psi. Vacuum ratings reach 10⁻⁸ Torr for UHV applications.
Yes. PAVE’s proprietary epoxy seals through virtually any insulation, including PTFE, ETFE, PVC, polyimide (Kapton), silicone, and rubber. If you have a non-standard wire, submit your spec and a PAVE engineer will confirm compatibility.
